Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Cistophorus (Silver, 26 mm, 11.87 g, 11 h), Pergamon, 27/6 BC. IMP CAESAR Bare head of Augustus to right; to right, lituus curved to right. Rev. AVGV - STVS Sheaf of six ears of grain. BN 953. Cohen 32. RPC 2209. RICĀ² 490. Sutherland Group III, 99-115 (but dies unlisted). Rare. An elegant coin, very attractively toned. About extremely fine.
